Our zero-waste vegan dish washing block ® is a wonderful cleaning powerhouse with a sudsy lather. Grime and grease are easily cut, without drying your hands out.

It is suitable for potent cleaning in all areas of your home. Not to mention, it can take stains out of laundry, take labels off of jars, spot clean your carpet, or just simply wipe down a countertop. It is extremely multipurpose!

Each vegan dish washing block 7.5 oz/ 215 g bar of dish soap will last a considerable amount of time. Customer feedback has helped us to guess that it can last anywhere from one to six months. Of course, estimations on length of time this bar will last vary based on household size and number of dishes washed.

The most wonderful news about this block is that it can replace anywhere from to 1-3 bottles of typical liquid dish soap which is almost ALWAYS contained in plastic.

How to use: First, remove excess grease and food from dishes, scraping them before use. Dampen block and sponge, and rub dish soap block to create suds. (Repeat as needed to refresh suds.) Now you are ready to give those dirty dishes a nice lather! Finally, rinse well. This works in warm or cold water according to your preference. Personally, we feel that warm water works best for us! For pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer.

Pair with: Our Eco-Sponge for general dish washing, or our White Teakwood Agave dish brushes for general dishes or stuck on food. We recommend placing it in a well-draining dish between uses to keep it lasting longer. Our Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf fits both Dish Block® sizes perfectly.

For extra sparkly dishes: wipe dishes dry with a cloth.

Pro kitchen tip: Use the same dish washing block® suds to clean your sink when it gets dirty, this can be used on porcelain, stainless, stone and glass sinks safely. We have seen customers use it to clean dirty & stained oven top surfaces as well!

Please note: using a strong scourer or scrubber exclusively on the block will wear it down faster than using a soft sponge or cloth.

(Due to the handmade and hand cut nature of this product, there will be imperfections, chips, fissures and roughness on the edges of the bar and rough variations on the surface, this is normal.)
